Oxford

Last month Drew and I went to the Ladies’ Day races at Newbury for my cousin’s birthday.  It was really lovely to spend time with family and try my luck at betting.  Despite the fact I didn’t win a single penny, I had a great day.

The day after the races we went to Oxford seeing as neither of us had been before.  It’s such a beautiful city, steeped in history and culture.

It was a scorcher of day, so we took advantage of wandering around the streets and along the river in the beautiful sunshine.  I love visiting a new city to discover what it has to offer; getting lost and never knowing what you might  find.

This was my first visit to Oxford and it definitely won’t be my last.
