Postcards from Cambridge

Last month we spent a couple of days down in Cambridge and it is such a beautiful place.  I took my Olympus to test drive my new lens and I’m quite happy with how these snaps turned out.  I’m still learning how to use my Olympus, but I had fun taking these and maybe one day I’ll understand aperture (maybe)…

You can’t go to Cambridge and not go for a punt along the river.  It was absolutely freezing, but the company we went with gave us blankets and hot water bottles and it was fascinating to learn about the different colleges.

After punting, we had a walk round St. John’s College which was absolutely stunning.  There are incredible views of the Bridge of Sighs and it’s like real life Hogwarts.

I still have a list as long as my arm of things I want to see in Cambridge so I have no doubt I’ll be back again soon.  The Fitzwilliam Museum and getting a Chelsea Bun from Fitzbillies is definitely at the top of my list, but if you have any other recommendations please let me know.
